Cannolo (Italian for 'little tube'; plural, cannoli) is a typical sweet from the Italian region of Sicily, where it originates. It consists of a tube-shaped rolled dough with ingredients mixed with ricotta cheese inside.

  • Flour 2.5 cups

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • 1 stick of butter 

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 oz white wine

  1. Take the flour and spread it in a bowl two millimeters thick.

  2. Mix the butter and the eggs, to join the dough around, the dough should be about one inch

  3. in diameter.

  4. Take the dough and cut pieces in a circular shape, about 3.937 inches wide.

  5. Take the dough in aluminum foil and fry it until it reaches its golden and crispy point.

  6. Leave it in oil with a heat of 350 F° for approximately three minutes.

  7. Remove from the aluminum foil, let it cool, and fill it with the ricotta.
