Roasted Duck with Patagonia Mix

Roasting a whole duck is not easy but it is worth it. It is so delicious, the smell is incredible, and once it’s ready to eat, it is addictive! Here is my favorite recipe using Patagonia Mix by Nativo Spices.

  1. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the marinade..

  2. Place the duck in a pan and cover with the mix. Let marinate overnight. 

  3. Take the duck out of the marination and place it on a rack, put it back in the cooler, and let it dry for at least a day.

  4. Heat the oven to 420*F

  5. Place the duck in the oven and cook for 45 minutes to one hour. The skin should be golden brown.

  6. Place a thermometer into the breast and check that it has reached 150*F .

  7. Remove the duck from the oven and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.

  8. Slice the duck and serve it with your favorite side dish.
