Succulent Chicken Thighs with Chimichurri or Chimi Bravo

Do you love chicken? We bring you a simple recipe that will become your favorite. If you are a fan of chicken, you surely love it in all its different ways of cooking and serving it. Seasoning it with Chimichurri or Chimi Bravo by Nativo Spices is definitely one of Chef Katriel’s favorite dishes.

Method:

Chimichurri/Chimi Bravo Sauce:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ½ the Chimichurri package or Chimi Bravo by Nativo Spices with a generous amount of olive oil. The olive oil serves as a base for the chimichurri and helps to bind the flavors.

  2. Pour in the red wine vinegar. The vinegar adds acidity to the chimichurri, enhancing its overall flavor. Adjust the amount to your taste preference.

  3. Squeeze fresh lime juice into the mixture. Lime juice adds a zesty and citrusy kick to the chimichurri. Adjust the quantity based on your taste.

  4. Mix thoroughly and let sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Method in the Grill:

  1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.

  2. Wash the chicken well and let it dry

  3. Top with olive oil, and for an for add extra touch of flavor use Rosemary Salt by Nativo Spices

  4. Place the chicken thighs on the grill skin side up and cook for 10 minutes.

  5. Turn the chicken and cook for another 10-15 minutes skin side down (always check internal food temperatures with an instant-read thermometer).

  6. During plating, pour the Chimichurri or Chimi Bravo sauce over the chicken thighs. 

  7. Serve and enjoy!

Method in the oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C)

  2. Wash the chicken thighs well and pat them dry.

  3. Top the chicken thighs with olive oil and season them with Rosemary Salt by Nativo Spices.

  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs on a baking sheet, skin side up.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches a safe level (165°F or 74°C). 

  6. During plating, pour the Chimichurri or Chimi Bravo sauce over the chicken thighs. 

  7. Serve and enjoy!
