Ingredients you will need:
1 pork loin (approx. 35oz.)
2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon mustard
4-8 oz. water
8 oz. fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon ginger powder or natural ginger
1 teaspoon salt
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp ketchup
Olive oil
Method:
Begin the preparation of our sweet and sour pork tenderloin with a bowl large enough to hold the pork loin. Add all ingredients except the pork and olive oil and mix everything very well until well integrated.
In an oven-safe container, place the pork loin and add our marinade on top (let it marinate for 30 minutes).
Take the piece of pork loin (leave the marinade in the container) and in a frying pan at medium-high temperature and with a little oil. Sear the pork loin on all sides, remove from heat, return to dip in the container with the sauce and take our pork loin in the oven for 50 minutes at 390º F. Be sure to check on the tenderloin every 15-30 minutes to coat it with its sauce to achieve a glaze).
Once fully cooked, remove the pork loin from the oven, place it on a cutting board (reserving the sauce). Cut it into slices about 1-1.5” thick, place it on a plate, add a little of the sauce on top and now we have our delicious sweet and sour pork loin ready to enjoy!!!!
