Ingredients:
2 - cups all-purpose flour
2 - tsp baking powder
1 - tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp sugar
8 - TBS cold, salted butter
3/4 cup milk
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
Cut butter into small pieces and add them into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
Using your hands (or a pastry cutter), work the cold butter into the dry ingredients until it reaches a consistency similar to wet sand. No large pieces of butter should remain.
Add the milk and stir gently to combine. Your dough should be just wet enough to hold together. If any dry flour remains, you can always add a touch more milk, if needed.
Scoop about 1/3 cup of the mixture into a loose ball and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Repeat until all dough is used. You should have enough for 8-10 biscuits.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
No matter how you choose to savor them, Rosemary biscuits are a wise choice for any occasion. Enjoy their wonderful flavor and share their charm with your loved ones. Ready to experience the magic of rosemary in every bite?
