St Patrick's Day is coming and the festive spirit is in the air.

To honor it in the way we like best, (which is by cooking) we bring you a recipe for St. Patrick's Day cookies. Not only are they delicious, but they will also brighten up the atmosphere with their shapes and colors. Have fun making this super easy and tasty recipe.

Ingredients:

Procedure

  1. Sift the flour with the salt and add the diced butter. Knead with your fingers until you have a lumpy dough.

  2. Add the egg yolk, the grated rind and a little cold water until a homogeneous dough is formed.

  3. Leave to rest for 1 hour in a cool place.

  4. Place on a surface, preferably a wooden one, and roll out to a thickness of 1 ½ cm and cut out the cookies with a clover-shaped cookie cutter.

  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. Leave to cool on a wire rack.

  7. Meanwhile prepare the icing by mixing Spiced Sugar with a few drops of food colouring and a few drops of water. When the cookies are cool, cover them with this mixture.
