Fancy a refreshing and spicy cocktail? Then you can't miss this recipe for Bloody Mary, a classic drink that combines vodka with tomato juice and a touch of spices.

Our dear Angie, Chef Katriel’s mother in law,  made this recipe with her favorite spice and shared it with our community! It's perfect to enjoy at brunch, a party, or just relaxing at home. We teach you how to prepare it step by step with a special ingredient: Thai Chili Salt By Nativo Spices, which will give it a unique and delicious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 tall glass rimmed with Thai Chilli Salt By Nativo Spices

  • 1/2 teaspoon Thai Chili Salt By Nativo Spices

  • Ice

  • 1 1/2 ounces of vodka of your choice

  • Tomato juice

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon A1 sauce (or any meat sauce)

  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish (you can omit it if you don't like it)

  • 2-3 drops of hot sauce of your choice - we use Tabasco

  • Garnishes like celery, olives, pickles (we love Boon Doggie Farm's Old Bay pickles!), meat sticks, or cheese.

Method:

  1. - Wet the rim of the glass with a little lemon juice or water and dredge in the Native Thai chili salt to create a crunchy and flavorful coating.

  2. Fill the glass 2/3 with ice.

  3. Add the vodka and fill the glass to within 1 inch of the rim with tomato juice.

  4. Add Native Thai Chili Salt, Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic, A1 Sauce, Horseradish and Hot Sauce. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.

  5. Add garnishes such as celery, olives, pickles (we love Old Bay pickles from Boon Doggie Farm!), beef stick, or cheese. You can use a toothpick to hold them or just drop them into the glass.

  6. Serve with a "snit" (a small beer) like we do in Wisconsin.
