Empanadas "Arabic Style"
Ingredients:
Ground Beef 1 Lb
Onions (Diced) 2 Lb
Tomatoes (Diced) 1 Lb
Lemon Juice 1 cup
Dough:
Flour 1 Lb
Water 2 cups
Sunflower Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients, season them with Pampas Herbs. Let the empanada mix marinate over night.
Make the dough by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 420*F.
Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 3mm of thickness. Cut circles of 5 to 7 cm with a cutter or a cup.
Place the empanada filling in the middle of the circle, then close the sides forming a triangle and leaving a window on top.
Place the empanadas on a sheet pan and Bake them at 420*f for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve them with a wedge of lemon!
