The Skirt Steak Sandwich, or “Lomito” in Argentina, is a delicious and classic sandwich fit for any occasion. Enhance your culinary talent with Nativo Spices.

Ingredients:

  • Patagonia Mix 1tbsp

  • Pampas Herbs 1tbsp

  • Skirt Steak 8oz

  • Purple Onion (cut in Julienne) 1ea

  • Tomato (cut in julienne) 1ea

  • Bell pepper (cut in Julienne) 1ea

  • Vinegar 1tbsp

  • Olive oil 2tbsp

  • Naan Bread 1ea

Method:

  1. Start by marinating the skirt steak. Use Patagonia Mix by Nativo Spices as a dry rub and cover all surfaces. Let the steak marinate at room temperature for at least half an hour

  2. Light the grill and let it start heating up. If using a charcoal or wood grill, keep an eye on the temperature.

  3. While the grill is warming, begin preparing the “Salsa Criolla.” Cut all your vegetables in julienne and add them all into a bowl. Season them with Pampas Herbs, olive oil, and vinegar. Salsa Criolla is a delicious and healthy topping for everything on the grill.

  4. Once the grill is hot, place the skirt steak on the grill. Cook the skirt steak until the temperature you like the most - I recommend medium rare. Let it rest for 5 minutes.

  5. Now put the bread on the grill to toast it and smoke it for a little bit.

  6. It is time to build the sandwich. Slice the steak in pieces no thicker than ½ inch, place the slices on the toasted bread, and add the Salsa Criolla.

  7. Enjoy your sandwich!. We hope you like this simple recipe! Please share it with your friends and family.
